Jon Huang, LAc, DTCM

Dr. Jon Huang graduated from Five branches university, Graduate School of Traditional Chinese Medicine with a Doctorate degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and received certification from California Acupuncture Board. He was mentored by Master acupuncturist Yen Wei, who was the personal and travel acupuncturist for the Grateful Dead rock band in the 90s.

Dr Jon‘s interest in acupuncture began when he was a patient. After trying many modalities, acupuncture helped him recover most from indigestion and insomnia from stress. Inspired by his own experience, he changed his career path so he could share the benefits of acupuncture with others.

He utilizes a combination of therapeutic treatments and modalities including electric stimulation, using hot stone with acupressure, cupping, moxibustion, guasha for facial rejuvenation, sound therapy and herb remedies to help patients to relieve pain in a natural way and avoid drug addiction, and restore their quality of life. After a healing session, patients feel more relaxed and energetic, have a radiant complexion, reduced craving, and improved metabolism, and sleep better throughout the night.
